Sola Petals/Flowers are handmade from Sola wood, which comes from the root of a Tapioca plant. Known by many names such as Cassava in the Caribbean, the Tapioca plant is a tropical species of the Euphorbiaceae (spurge) family. As Sola wood flowers are handmade from tapioca plants, they are ORGANIC materials, providing an eco-friendly alternative to flowers.
Please note that as these are organic, they WILL NOT withstand moist conditions, with a possibility the Sola wood flowers could develop mould. As long your Sola Centrepiece is kept in a dry, indoor environment, and well cared for, your Sola wood flowers should be last a lifetime.
